The information below is valid for Teltonika TeltoCharge charging stations with firmware prior to April 2024. An update is expected as of April 2024.

The charger must be configured as a Modbus slave. You can do that by following the steps below:

You need to configure the charger with the following Modbus parameters:

Baud rate: 9600

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1

A unique address. If you have multiple devices connected to the same RS485 bus, each device must be given a unique address.

If the charger is 3-phase and connected to 3 phases, the phase must be set to 3-phase under dlm settings. In addition, make sure that all parameters related to 3-phase charging are set, such as that 3-phase charging is enabled.

Load balance and load management should be disabled with the parameter on master side disabled.

Other important parameters:

authorization required must be off (or assigned, if required is on),

loading schedules and random delay must be off.

Load balance and grid power should be set to the maximum available in the installation.
